A decent day...

Today has been an mostly decent day. I woke up in a good mood, which is always a positive thing. Unfortunately I had to use the dregs from two packets of cereal to get a decent breakfast.
My Creative Writing lecture was an improvement on the ones that we've been having for the past two weeks. He actually made me want to go and write something rather than bang my head against the desk all afternoon. You can't "make jazz" in writing!
I also have a lovely clean room at the moment, and a very clean kitchen, so I'm feeling non-messy in those departments. Grandad Goth seems happy today too, so that's another load off my shoulders. We sat in the kitchen and spoke about music for about an hour this afternoon, which was nice.
Oh, and before I forget (and I've managed to carry on forgetting for three days), I bought a White Band from Oxfam on Saturday. I think I confused the ladies working there when I paid twice the normal price for a band - I think they thought I wanted two. I don't mind spending out on something I believe in, and I really do believe in this, so that's that. Oh, and if someone is reading this and by chance hasn't got one, go to your nearest Oxfam now and I will love you forever? If anyone sees this and does go get one, please leave me a comment so I know.
The rest of the evening has been OK. The Hair played with my hair, making a style that involved one of my big sequined flowers and my chop-sticks, one of which he managed to break in the process. There's a good drama on TV tonight - better than that disgusting autopsy thing that was on last night *shudders*, and ? is coming round tonight (I'm having to leave that blank because I can't think of a suitable pseudonym at the moment - she's one of Child-Genius' friends that I'm living with next year). All in all, it looks like it's set to be a good end to a good day.
