Finally, a good day!

Yay! Finally I get to have one good day this week. Princess, Butterfly and Child-Genius weren't around, so myself and The Hair went into town. We had lunch (I had chocolate fudge cake) and then did a bit of shopping. They've got a good DVD offer in HMV at the moment, so I treated myself to some new films.

Before we went food shopping I went to see how the new flat was coming along. It looks like an empty shell at the moment - it doesn't seem possible that we're moving into it in December. I think that we'll be able to see the castle from our windows, so that's an added bonus. Tomorrow evening we're meeting a prospective fifth housemate in the bar. I'm so nervous about it - I really want to get all this sorted and out the way.

When we came back from town, we spent the rest of the day watching DVDs and had Chinese for dinner. I gave him part of his anniversary present - a wind-up Ring Wraith, which was much appreciated. I can't wait till Tuesday now!
