Doctors and nurses...

Even though today's events included a trip to the medical centre, it's been an rather successful day. I woke up at about 8:30am and rang the centre straight away to book an urgent appointment. They said that a nurse with access to a doctor would see me at 3pm that day, so that was lucky. I spent the morning going though notes etc. (so much work) and then went to my appointment.
The nurse was quite scary - she had this air of "you're wasting my time" about her. I heard her talking to someone when I was waiting to get my prescription from the doctor, and I was surprised that the poor girl didn't burst into tears. I've been given some tablets, so that's good.
On the way home I went past the student union shop to pick up my college hoodie that I ordered at the beginning of last term. They let me have a Uni t-shirt because I'd been waiting so long, so that's cool. I'd wanted one last term but they're about £18.
Choir was fantastic tonight! We're doing a piece called "Evening Hymn" that I used to do in the Cathedral Choir, and it is one of my favourite songs in the whole world. I was lucky that I didn't cry - I get really nostalgic about choir sometimes.
When I got home we watched "Desperate Housewives" in Butterfly's room. We've missed the last two weeks, so we have to watch the video before next week. Butterfly's getting all her forms ready to go to America next year (we love you Butterfly!), so she's a busy bunny at the moment.
My Mum's coming tomorrow. Yay!
