Plastic rings and party games...
Yay! Happy birthday Child-Genius!
Today, our much loved Child-Genius turned 19, and so we threw her a little party. It was the kind of thing you expect to have for an eight year old - she actually called it her "Jelly and Ice Cream" party! Butterfly made the jelly last night but make a slight mistake, so we ended up with three varieties of jelly but all made with part water, part vodka. So really, it wasn't like an eight year old party. Princess finished her jelly (well, it was pink), but a lot of other people gagged and had to give in to the burning at the back of their throats. I don't like jelly, so I stuck to the ice cream and Smarties. Yum yum!
We had a party-crasher in the form of one BB. I don't know why she bothered - it wasn't like she did something wild like get drunk and throw chairs against the walls. She just sat there, flirted with everyone else's boyfriends, and ate our party food. She didn't even wish Child-Genius a happy birthday. Such a weird girl...
Myself and The Hair didn't go for our Chinese in town this weekend, but we did get the munchies tonight and bought some Singapore Vermicelli from the takeaway on campus. Hee hee, I like evening munchie episodes!
It's been an over all good day. I found out that Mum and Dad are going to Prague in May *scowls*, so I'm very jealous of them, but they didn't get to join in our wonderful party today so HA! to them. I know, I know, that was very childish, but all I will say is that I am expecting postcards, and good ones!
