Coughing and spluttering...
As you can tell from the title of this entry, I'm not feeling too well at the moment. I think I have an evil chest infection. Bleh. I would like to thank the lovely company that is J Sainsbury's for providing chesty cough medicine for less than half the price of those supplied by the big names i.e. Benylin. When it comes to health products, you can't beat 'em.
Enough of my rant about over priced medicine. it's not like I had to pay out. It doesn't taste all that nice though, especially when compared to their tickly cough stuff. That stuff is like Calpol for grown ups. And I think we deserve it. I think the more times you've been ill, the nicer the medicine should taste. It's only fair. Otherwise, where's the reward for being a good sick person? They should give you a loyalty card, something like that. I really don't want to be sectioned, so I think I'll leave that thought as it is...
Apart from having to pause now and then whilst I coughed my little heart out, today's been quite good. I went into town with The Hair and one of his lovely friends. We bumped into my Metal Mummy too, which was very spiffing indeed. I fell in love with a beautiful suitcase for the second time in two weeks. When it comes to shoes I really couldn't care less, but when I see a bag I like, then you know that I'm really a girl, not some feminine looking bloke. My bag addiction is spiralling out of control. Well, it's not really. but it probably would if I had the funds.
Wool was one of the items on the top of the agenda today. I felt so crappy last night and would've killed for some wool. now I am a happy knitting bunny. That makes me sound so domesticated...
I am currently sitting with The Hair in the music technolgy labs, using one of their lovely Apple Macs. These things are great, if somewhat confusing. Who would've thought that "Internet Explorer" would be called "Safari". Strange huh? I also did something that deleted this post the first time I typed it, which I found highly annoying. Why couldn't they just make their computers easy like everyone else? I hate it when technicians go and make everything difficult for the pure joy of it. I do like the way that you can opt to have the background change every now and then though, that does look very pretty. I came with him so that he could play me some new tracks he'd recorded before we went to bed, but that was about an hour ago. At least I have some fun and slightly productive to do though. I think I'm going to go poke him until we leave now.
