Feeling like the only child I am...

Today was really good. I love having my parents here, I get on with them so well that they feel like older siblings. We went to have a look around my new flat, and they seemed impressed. I was also very happy to learn that we can paint our rooms next year! I'm thinking pale lilac. We didn't really do much else - we went to the Indian on campus and had a buffet meal, then packed up their car and they left. I guess that them being here reminded me that they are my family - no brothers or sisters, just them. It also saddens me that I thought the four of us were like sisters, but now Princess is the only one I feel that bond with. I suppose my life was much simpler when I was an only child living at home.

Another downer was that the doll order wouldn't go through. I've emailed the Crypt Club admin to tell them about the problem and they sent me an apologetic and very helpful email back. I also sent Mum and Dad an email telling them what dolls I want to buy and the instructions on how to buy them, so hopefully that'll be done soon. I'm so tempted to take them with me to the new flat, I've got a gorgeous collection.

On a positive note, they brought me my sandals. Yay for sandals!

I really feel like playing 'Black and White'. Mmm...
