It's my birthday! All bow down to the birthday girl!

Yay for birthdays! I guess that on this merry day I should be thanking my parents for deciding to procreate, but I'm sure that goes without saying. The Hair came round last night which was lovely, and we had free takeaway pizza - yay!
Seeing as Dad has to go to work early in the morning, Mum decided that I should open up my main presents last night, which is cheating a bit, but nevermind. My parents bought me this collection of pottery cats that I've wanted since Christmas and a lovely new pink haired dolly. My lovely Hair bought me a beautiful print by my favourite artist. It's a large version of one of my favourite paintings by her, so I'm extremely happy. He also bought me Miles, an Emily Strange kitty, so I keep meowing to show my appreciation. I love my parents and my boyfriend!

Nine Inch Nails!

I went to see the lovely Mr Reznor in concert on Wednesday. I know it's now Saturday and that I've been a naughty girl, but I've been working, sleeping and playing with my new minidisc player. Horray for me!
It was an amazing day on Wednesday. Myself and The Hair met up with Vamps and Tryfan off the begoths forum and had a lovely afternoon with them. We met their many reptilian pets, their children and their amazing figure collection. Then we went down to Brixton to see the gig. It was the most amazing gig I've been to - the music was amazing and I could see so much, a novelty for me! Trent threw himself into the crowd about a metre away from me, so that was nice. When they played 'Hurt' the emotion in the place was so intense. I could've cried, but my eyeliner looked bad enough as it was. All in all, the best gig I've been to as yet in terms of venue and the music. Yay!

A stressul few days...

I know I've been a bad blogger again, but what with the recent events in London I've been trying to sort my head out. The only good news I've had since Thursday is that I've passed my first year and will therefore be going back to Lancaster in September, but that's the only positive experience I've really had. Thursday was really crappy as my father was working in London, and although I knew he was safe, I didn't know when he'd be home. Luckily he was back at six that evening, which is only 15 minutes later than usual. He was very stressed out that evening, which is understandable.
Friday wasn't all that brilliant. I got some of my third year books in the post which was a pleasant surprise, but that's about it. i had to work from midday until eight in the evening. which wasn't nice at all. After work myself and Mum went to Deep Pan to get some takeaway pizza, but instead of a pepperoni pizza they gave me one covered in mushrooms. I was in a foul mood all the way home and promptly rang and complained as soon as I got in the house. They've said that the next time we order takeaway they'll give us two free pizzas, but after that I'm seriously thinking about not going there again. They sure know how to loose business. Another vaguely good thing is that Maxwell was evicted from Big Brother. Oh, the joy.
Yesterday wasn't too bad. My manager was feeling soft and let me have an extra tea break which was welcomed. Also I arrived at home to discover the my falls, as made by VampyreLily on the begoths forum, had arrived, although she lives in London and I only sent the payment on Wednesday night. There is hope in the British postal service yet.
At the moment I'm at The Hair's having a nice relaxing weekend. He's just got in from being the shower, so it's not like I've been neglecting him. We had fun last night - the neighbours were making a lot of noise in their hot tub, and when The Hair's dad shouted at them from his window. they came round and started to accuse The Hair and his siblings of having wild parties whilst his parents are away. I'd love to know who it is, seeing as whenever his parents go away they take their children with them. Maybe they should report a break in. Stupid sodding neighbours.
