Yay! Mummy!

Mummy came to tea this afternoon (by that I mean she came to stay the night). We had a good day. She blitzed the kitchen for us (I didn't make her!) and pottered around my room. In the evening after my seminar I cooked us a lovely chicken korma and we had dinner in the kitchen with the girls.

In the evening we dyed my hair (a very mother daughter activity for us) and watched "Bridget Jones's Diary". She liked the film which was good, and we managed to get through a tub of Ben and Jerry's between the two of us.

It's so nice to have her here - I don't really realise how much I miss her and Dad until they come to visit.
